SEN Teaching Assistant

Grade 2 SCP 1-2

£20,441 - £20,812 Pro rata (39 weeks paid)

Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support children across the school with additional needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in improving outcomes for children and the ability to be flexible in meeting their needs. In addition, they should be able to demonstrate effective ways of working with pupils to enable them to succeed, access the curriculum and consistently increase their enthusiasm for learning. They will be joining a dynamic, proactive and nurturing team. In addition to these qualities our new member will be required to:

• Fully embrace our behaviour ethos – Restorative Practice

• Fully embrace our inclusive ethos

• Help ensure the well-being, health and safety of all our children at all times.

• To support and nurture relationships with these specific children, families, colleagues and external professionals with whom you have contact.

• Be fully flexible to work across the school.

• Be able to demonstrate a range of strategies to use with high needs children.
